and furthermore at this court the lord present in court granted from his hands to Abraham Pike blacksmith and his heirs and assigns one parcel of the lords waste lying next to Colneford Hill containing about 1p upon which the said Abraham recently built one smiths shop and by the said steward he granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have the said parcel of the waste with appurtenances to the said Abraham Pike his heirs and assigns forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the customs of the said manor by fealty suit of court for three weeks within three weeks and the rent of 12d per annum to be paid at the usual feast for payment within the said manor and in consideration of such a grant he gave to the lord his fine and made fealty
