and furthermore whereas at a court here held 14.7.1637 the said Thos Fisher gentleman was admitted tenant of the lord to himself and his heirs to certain customary lands called Sladeland according as it is shown by the said court roll now to this court came the said Thos Fisher and surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the said steward the said lands called Sladeland with appurtenances and all other lands and customary tenements of the said Thos Fisher lying in Earls Colne to the use and behoof of the said Hen Abbott his heirs and assigns forever who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said lands called Sladeland and all and singular the premises with appurtenances to the said Hen Abbott his heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the customs of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and was admitted tenant
