and furthermore to this court came Robt Seawell and brought into court a certain warrant under the seal of Rich Harlakenden esq lord of the said manor and sought for the said warrant to be enrolled in the roll for this court and it was granted to him and the tenor of the same is in these words Earls Colne be it known unto all men by these presents that I Rich Harlakenden of Earls Colne in the county of Essex lord of the said manor have given and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto Robt Seawell of Tayne in the said county yeoman and copyhold tenant of the said manor licence and authority to let and set all his lands pastures and meadows lying and being in Earls Colne called by the name or names of Bridgemans being copyhold of the same manor from the feast of michaelmas last past until the end and term of ten years excepting and reserving to myself my heirs and assigns all royalties rights privileges suits services rent and rates due and accustomed to be paid during all the same term and this my licence to be enrolled at the next court holden for the said manor whereupon I have hereunto set my hand and seal 10.1.18Chas1 Rich Harlakenden
