at this court the lord of the said manor at the humble petition of Ambrose Waller granted from his hands to the said Ambrose one parcel of land now a yard containing about 20p now enclosed with fencing and adjoining the said messuage of the said Ambrose called Morses on the eastern part and by the said steward delivered to him seisin thereof by the rod to have and to hold the said parcel of land or the said yard to the said Ambrose his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by fealty suit of court and the rent of 6d per annum to be paid at the feast of michaelmas and for such a grant he gave to the lord his fine
