and whereas at a court held for the said manor 30.12.1651 the said Phil Ennew was admitted tenant as executor to Hen Ennew to one messuage and garden and to 4a of land enclosed lying near Hind Land until the said Wm Ennew then an infant shall attain his age of twenty three years now at this court it was presented that the said Phil is dead and the said Wm yet within the said age whereupon the custody of the said messuage and lands is granted to the said Wm Tanner until the said Wm Ennew shall attain his said age to the intent that the said Wm Tanner shall employ the rents and profits thereof to such uses as by the last will and testament of the said Hen is appointed and his fine is pardoned
