Masons | at this court it appeared to the homage that Robt Carter who held to him and his heirs at the will of the lord etc one cottage or tenement now into two tenements divided adjoining the churchyard of Earls Colne and now or late in the several tenures of Smith widow and Danish widow to which the said Robt was admitted at a court here held 4.4.8Chas1 died after the last court so seised and that Jn Carter is his son and heir upon which the said Jn Carter humbly petitioned admittance etc to whom by the steward seisin is delivered etc to have and to hold the aforesaid cottage etc to the said Jn Carter his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and he gave the lord for fine etc |
