whereas at a court here held 23.7.1650 Rich Ward and Grace his wife were admitted to one croft called Burroughs containing by estimation 3a more or less for the term of their lives and after their decease to the heirs of the said Rich forever now at this court it appeared to the homage that the said Rich Ward and Grace his wife died before this court so seised and that Rich Ward is the son and heir of the said Rich who present in court came and petitioned admittance etc to whom the steward delivered seisin to have and to hold the said lands with appurtenances to the said Rich Ward his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and gave the lord for fine etc
