fine 2li5swhereas at a court here held 2.4.1662 Rich Hatch junior was admitted to him and his heirs to one messuage with appurtenances late Wm Davison's and after Rich Browne and a garden adjoining and a certain way to carry and recarry from the garden aforesaid to a way called Berecroft Lane with appurtenances now at this court it appeared to the homage that 13.4.27Chas2 the said Rich Hatch surrendered by the hands of Geo Toller gentleman instead of the bailiff in the presence of Rich Hatch senior and Giles Crow two customary tenants etc the said messuage with appurtenances now in the several occupations of Ann Sillitoe widow Jas Markham and Mary Ellis widow or their assigns and all his customary lands messuages and tenements held of the manor aforesaid to the sole use of Wm Boosby of Earls Colne tailor his heirs and assigns forever which Wm Boosby present in court came and humbly petitioned admittance to whom the steward delivered seisin etc to have and to hold the said messuage etc to the said Wm Boosby his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and he gave the lord for fine etc
