now at this court it appeared to the homage that the said

surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of
Jn Potter
instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Robt Finch
and
Jn Clarke
two customary tenants of the manor etc the said cottage with appurtenances to the sole use of
Roger Roote
senior of Chappell alias Pontisbright carpenter his heirs and assigns forever which said
Roger Roote
present here in court humbly petitioned admittance of the lord to the premises etc to whom the steward delivered seisin by the rod etc to have and to hold the cottage or tenement aforesaid to the said
Roger Roote
his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and he gave the lord for fine etc
