whereas at at a court here held 22.4.1669 Wm Paretree alias Evans took for him and his heirs a certain parcel of a yard pertaining to a customary cottage called Joldens lying behind the tenement of the said Wm containing 4rod in length and 2rod and a half in breadth now at this court it appeared to the homage and on the oath of Geo Toller gentleman and by the inspection of the conditions of a certain obligation made and dated 29.9. in which surrender it specified that Wm Paretree alias Evans son and heir of the said Wm surrendered into the lord's hands the premises to the use of Rich Appleton his heirs and assigns forever upon which came the said Rich and humbly petitioned admittance etc to whom the steward delivered seisin etc to have and to hold the premises aforesaid to the said Rich Appleton his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and after his admittance the said Rich Appleton surrendered the premises into the hands of the lord to the use of Edw Warren his heirs and assigns forever which said Edw humbly petitioned admittance to whom the steward delivered seisin etc to have and to hold the premises aforesaid to the said Edw Warren his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and gave the lord for fine etc
