| parcel of Simon Wards | whereas at a court here held 19.10.1659 Wm Gladwin took to him and his heirs one parcel of customary land containing by estimation 20p more or less being parcel of a certain garden belonging to the messuage of the said Wm now in the occupation of Margt Holden widow now at this court it appeared to the homage that the said Wm died so seised and that Rebecca wife of Joseph Lewis of Bishopsgate St London sadler is his cousin and next heir which said Rebecca Lewis here petitioned admittance by Jn Digby her attorney or deputy in this part to whom the steward delivered seisin etc to have and to hold the said lands etc to the said Rebecca Lewis her heirs and assigns of the lord etc and gave the lord for fine etc |
