it appears that Jn Crow a customary tenant of this manor 22.4.1699 surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of Sam Burton instead of the bailiff in presence of Rich Sillitoe and Thos Brewer two customary tenants etc all that customary mansion in Earls Colne called by name of Bower Feild also Holders Feild with appurtenances to such use as will be declared in his last will in writing
