at a court held 20.3.1684 Wm Creake was admitted to him and heirs to all that part of a messuage called Le Swinesty then in occupation Rich Mott now at this court appears etc that said Wm Creake 26.3.1706 surrendered by rod into hands of lord by hands of Sam Burton in place of the bailiff in presence of Jn Fletcher and Gilb Smith gentleman two customary tenants said premises with appurtenances to use of Jn King of Earls Colne wool merchant his heirs and assigns forever who petitions etc granted delivery of seisin etc said premises with appurtenances giving fine etc
