at a court held 23.3.1694 Jn Parish late of Sudbury in Suffolk baker deceased and Mary his wife were admitted to 2p of land late parcel of a yard pertaining to a tenement called Littmans next adjoining a messuage late Wm Harlakenden esq's and also to a croft of land or pasture parcel of Bearcroft and an orchard lying behind the mansion house late Wm Harlakenden's and now the said Mary Parish's and also another croft or parcel of land with appurtenances called Bearcroft or otherwise containing 4a more or less abutting onto lands of Edw Potter to the west and onto another close called Bearcroft to the east and onto lands of Robt Harris and Wm Adams to north and onto a lane called the Backlane to the south held for his life with remainder as etc now to this court comes Mary Parish and also Andrew Parish younger son of said Jn and Mary and surrender into hand of lord by rod by hand of said steward all and singular the said premises with appurtenances to use of Sam Burton ge nt heirs and assigns forever which said Sam present here in court lords granted delivery of seisin by the rod by steward to have and hold etc but he does not give fine because etc
