at this court appears to homage that 29.1.last past Jn Brackley a customary tenant of the manor surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand and acceptance of Solomon Grimston deputy steward etc all his copyhold messuage or tenement with appurtenances called Mordens also Cross End once Tyler's and also another customary messuage or tenement with appurtenances called Mordens or Cross End which messuages or tenements are situate in Earls Colne and now or late in tenure of Thos Brackley and Sam Hutton or assigns to use of Thos Brackley husbandman his heirs and assigns forever which Thos present here in court lords by steward granted delivery of seisin of said premises with appurtenances by the rod etc
