and at this court it appears to homage that Jn Bullock died since last court and before his death to wit 8.2.1731 made his last will in writing by which he devised amongst others in following words to wit imprimis I do give and devise unto my son Nich Bullock part of my copyhold messuage or tenement called by the name of Cross Land House or otherwise holden of the manor of Earls Colne wherein I now dwell that is to say one lower room with a chamber over it with a yard towards the gatehouse to him and his heirs forever after which comes here into court said Nich and petitions etc admitted tenant of premises etc gives fine etc
