at a court held for the manor 31.3.1720 it appeared to that homage that before that court to wit 11.8.1719 Jn Bullock senior a customary tenant of manor surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of Isaac Potter in place of the bailiff in presence of Wm Peartree and Jn White two customary tenants etc all customary messuage or tenement with yards gardens and appurtenances to the use of his last will in writing
