and also at this court appears to homage that before this court to wit 1.10.1731 Mary Cooke a customary tenant of the manor surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of Jn Newton in place of the bailiff in presence of Wm Ellis and Dan Cobb two customary tenants etc all her customary messuages lands and tenements held of the manor by copy of court roll to use of last will of Mary in writing
