whereas at a court held for manor at a court 13.3.1744 Frances Parish and Eliz Parish were admitted to 2r land more or less late parcel of a yard belonging to a tenement called Littmans adjoining to the free messuage one time of Wm Harlakenden esq and then of Frances and Eliz Parish and also to a croft of land or pasture parcel of Bearcroft and an orchard lying on the backside of the said mansion house and also to another croft or parcel of land with appurtenances called Bearcroft or otherwise containing 4a more or less abutting on the back lane southward in Earls Colne hold to them and heirs of their several bodies as tenants in common and now at this court it is found by the homage that Frances Parrish died since last court whereon comes into court Eliz her sister now wife of Jas Robinson gentleman and humbly etc admitted tenant to moiety of the said lands and premises etc
