whereas at a court leet and court baron held for manor 18.4.last it was found and presented by homage that Ann Potter widow and relict of Isaac Potter deceased and widow of Wm Boosby long since deceased and Wm Boosby only son and heir of Wm Boosby deceased customary tenants of manor out of court 18.1.1748 surrendered by rod into hands of lords by hand and acceptance of Rich Wale gentleman steward etc all their messuage and tenement in several tenures of Ann Potter Wm Boosby and Wm Dorr with yards gardens and appurtenances belonging and a certain way to carry and recarry from the garden to a lane called Bearcroft Lane as messuage and premises are situate in Earls Colne near churchyard reversion and reversions remainder and remainders to use of Rich Wale his heirs and assigns forever
