whereas at a court held monday 19.11.1744 Eliz wife of Jas Robinson gentleman and said Jas in right of his wife Eliz being first solely and secretly examined and consenting by steward according to custom of manor did in full and open court surrender by rod into hands of lords by hands and acceptance of then steward all that 2r land late parcel of a yard called Littmans and also one croft of land parcel of Bearcrofts and an orchard lying on backside of a certain freehold house belonging to Eliz and also another croft called Bearcroft containing 4a held of manor by annual rent of 8s to use of Eliz for life and after her decease to use of Jas for his life remainders over etc
