| fine 2s | to this court came Thos Prudman and Cecily Bray by the steward solely examined and surrendered into the hands of the lady one garden called Wardys to the use of Wm Threscher and Emma his wife and the heirs of the said Wm to whom the lady granted seisin to hold to the same said Wm and Emma his wife and the heirs of the same said Wm at the will of the lady according to the custom of the manor saving rights etc and they gave to the lady for a fine to hold the aforesaid garden as is shown in the margin pledged for the fine Thos Prudman and Wm Onger and made fealty to the lady |
