fine 12d | at this court the lord granted confirmed and ratified to Jn Litman and Margery his wife and Jn Whrigth of Colefordhell one cottage with curtilage adjoining late of Jn Paget and afterwards of Andrew his son as shown in a roll of court with view on tuesday in week of pentecost 16.5.3Hen4 which the said Jn Litman and Margery his wife held with Wm Clerk by a grant of the lady Matilda de Veer late countess of Oxford and one purpresture out of his tenement at Collefordhell for one building to be built thereupon containing in length 40ft and in breadth 3ft and another purpresture there of the purpresture at the edge of the said tenement apportioned out of a meadow of the priory and convent of Colne to whom the lord granted by his steward seisin thereof to hold to the same said Jn Margery his wife and Jn the heirs and assigns of the said Jn Litman from the lord at the will of the lord by ancient services and customs etc and gave to the lord for a fine etc and made fealty |
