fine 40d | to this court came Robt Segge and Wm Ate Wode and surrendered into the hands of the lord one messuage with a certain parcel of garden called Mathews to the use of Jn Dunstale and Margt his wife Thos Kelet and Jn Maldone to whom the lord thereof granted seisin to hold to the same said Jn Margt Thos and Jn and their heirs by the services and customs saving the rights etc upon the condition that the aforesaid Jn Margt Thos and Jn and all their associates should well and faithfully take over the fines of the said Robt and Wm as in certain indentures carried out between the aforesaid parties it plainly appears which same said indentures are dated on the feast of the purification of the blessed mary 2.2.2Hen5 without such authority the same said Robt and Wm and their heirs should be truly allowed to reenter and go into the aforesaid messuage with parcel of aforesaid garden etc the authority of this surrender notwithstanding and they gave to the lord for a fine as shown and made fealty |
