fine 6d it was found by the oath of Wm Attewood Firmin Tyler Wm Atte Frethe Rich Abraham Jn Wright of Colford Hill Jn Hyne Wm Prudeman Jn Soneld Jn Payne Jn Rouncy Jn Maldon and Jn Passemer who say that Geof Bery of Halstead lying very sick out of court surrendered into the hands of Firmin Tyler the lord's tenant according to the custom of this manor one cottage with curtilage and 5a of land with appurtenances in Earls Colne called Burwes customary to the use of Roger Bery his brother and Wm Attewood to whom the lord now at this court granted seisin thereof to hold to the same Roger and Wm their heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and they gave fine etc and made fealty
