situated within the manor of Earls Colne made waste viz in default of reroofing namely monies there to the value of twenty four cartloads of straw at a price per cart with carriage 16d a sum of 26s8d item there is waste for one man with his boy for roofing the said house in all accounted to a value of 26s8d item there is waste for beams rafters and pitch to the value of 13s4d item there is waste as in wattle and dawb to a value of 13s4d therefore it is presented to the bailiff to levy the aforesaid money for the repair of the said house as accounted to his account for the aforesaid waste because there was neglect by him during the minority of the said
