Earls Colne heriot inquisition Jn Turnor and Hen Nicol | whereas at a court here held on the friday next after the feast of all souls in 3.11.9Edw3 it was presented that Jocius the reeve inguisition(inserted) the lord's bondsman held from the lord etc one messuage and five acrewar after whose death was given to the lord for heriot valued at 5s similarly he held one croft of land called M=l====pigtel containing 1a and one croft called Pelleslond which contained 3a of land etc now of Jn Turnor (inserted) similarly he died seized of one piece of land called Other Hallacre which he held from the prior of Colne item he died seised of 2a2r of land called Parkfeld and of 1a of meadow now of Hen Nicole (inserted) which he held of Walt Carpenter and of 1a2r of land which he held of Jn Gosse and it is said that Jn son and heir of the same said according to custom was of full age and admitted thereof tenant etc therefore it is presented to seize into the hands of the lord until etc and to return to the lord of the profits thereof |
