| fine 6d fine for his right enquired 4d | to this court came Jn Besouth of Tey and sought admittance for himself to one toft with appurtenances sometime of Matilda Thabor in the aforesaid Colne as it lies between a messuage late of Xian Sonyngwell on one part and a messuage of Rich Skynnere on the other part after the death of Jn Besouth of Tey his father in as much as the right and inheritance descending by right and inheritance of Jn my father after the decease of Jn Besouth of Tey his aforesaid father and my great grandfather who married daughter of Jn Adam of the aforesaid Colne and for herself the aforesaid toft with appurtenances descended by right of inheritance after the death of the said Jn Adam and Andrew Adam son and heir of the said Jn Adam and he gave to the lord for a fine for the right of inquisition and proof of his age as shown in the margin and upon this the inquisition was taken upon the oath of the whole homage who say that Jn is the son and next heir and of full age and he was admitted thereof tenant to hold to the same said Jn his heirs and assigns from the lord at the will of the lord by the ancient services and customs saving the right etc and he gave to the lord for a fine etc and made fealty |
