Jn Adam | whereas at a court here held on the friday next after the feast of all saints 8.11.10Edw3 Xian who was wife of Jocius Reve bought of Peter Smith and Jn Adam two crofts and 5d rent which the same said Peter and Jn had enfeoffed the aforesaid Jocius by deed and because the said Jocius was the lord's bondsman the said tenement was seized into the hands of the lord and to this court came the aforesaid Xian and surrendered the deed of the aforesaid tenement and received the said tenement of the lord by the rod to hold for her whole life at the will of the lord by an increase of rent per annum of 1f at the term of michaelmas and made to the lord earl the chief lord fee service thereof owed and by right accustomed etc and after the decease of Xian herself the whole aforesaid tenement together to remain to the rightful heirs of Jocius himself to hold by the rod by the services noted etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord and to return to the lord of the profits etc |
