rents apportionment | to this court came Jn Bovyll chaplain and showed a certain deed by which he purchased 2a of land lying in Okemannes between lands of the said Jn Bovyl on one part and a croft called Pyllecroft on the other part and abutting upon Litt==meadow of Jn Payn parcel of the lands and tenements sometime of Jn Werkeman in the aforesaid Colne to hold to himself and his heirs forever which was given at the aforesaid Colne on the thursday next before the feast of st peter ad vincula 27.7.8Hen6 and made fealty etc and he sought that the aforesaid Jn Bovyll should be apportioned at a quarter of the rent of the aforesaid tenement called Werkemannes and owes it and upon this by lic ence of the lord the said 2a of land were apportioned at Colne to the lord annually at 6d sterling and which said 6d Jn Payn and his heirs after him ought to pay etc |
