inquisition whereas at a court here held on the friday next before the feast of st martin 10.11.20Edw3 it was shown by an inquisition that Matilda who was the wife of Hen Stepvene held from the lord on the day that she died one messuage sometime of Steph de Bonchamp and there was heriot etc and they say that Hen Stepvene chaplain is the next heir and of full age and was admitted thereof tenant etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord etc and to return to the lord etc item Adam Smyth and Emma his wife came and took from the lord's demesne at Colfordhell one plot of land containing in length 2rod and a half and in breadth 1rod opposite a tenement of Jn Serjaunt to hold to the same etc returning thereof annually to the lord 2d per annum etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord etc and to return to the lord etc
