fine 2s | Jn Kebyll present in court surrendered into the hands of the lord one messuage with garden adjoining with appurtenances which same said garden lies at Collefordhyll between a messuage of Jn Wryth on one part and a messuage late of Rich Kope on the other part to the use of Joan who was wife of Wm Sorell to whom freely there is seisin thereof to hold for the entire lifetime of Joan herself from the lord by the rod etc and by the ancient services and customs etc thus that after the death of Joan herself the messuage and aforesaid garden should remain to Jn Melle Steph Smyth and Jn Brookman with this intention to save the right and inheritance of the messuage and aforesaid garden for the next heirs of Wm himself and Joan at that time surviving after the death of the same said Joan and if there are no heirs of the aforesaid Wm and Joan after the death of the same said Joan surviving that then the reversion of the messuage and aforesaid garden should be to the said Jn Steph and Jn and their heirs in order to sell and the money thereof proceeding for the souls of Wm and Joan themselves to be celebrated in mass and other works of charity to be distributed and upon this form there is seisin freely thereof to them to hold to herself in the aforesaid form from the lord at the will of the lord by the ancient services and customs etc saving the rights etc and she gave to the lord for a fine for having her entry and made her fealty |
