fine 6d | at the same said court it was shown by the homage that Jn Gyfford out of court surrendered into the hands of the lord's bailiff in the presence of Jn Turnor Walt Skot and other of the lord's tenants according to the custom of the manor one tenement in the aforesaid Colne called Langetones with one garden adjoining between a tenement of Ralph Kebill and a lane called Morsislane on one part and a way leading towards Colchester on the other part with appurtenances to the use of Wm Skot and Jn Smyth to whom was delivered thereof seisin to have and to hold to the aforesaid Wm and Jn their heirs and assigns forever by the rod at etc saving the right etc upon the condition that the said Wm and Jn should pay to the executors of the said Jn Gyffard 3s4d and upon this they gave for a fine etc and made fealty etc |
