fine 2s | to the same said court came Rich Multon and Ralph Audele present in court and surrendered into the hands of the lord one tenement called Burowes in Colne with 6a of customary land and one small croft called Lytil Burowes with another croft of land called Stonyleygth with their appurtenances for the lord to do as he would and the lord thus thereof seised out of his grace regranted now at the same said court the said tenements with their appurtenances to Simon Levyton of the aforesaid Colne Ralph Audele and Rich Esthey to whom was delivered thereof seisin to have and to hold to the aforesaid Simon Ralph and Rich their heirs and assigns forever by the rod at the will of the lord etc upon the following condition viz that if the aforesaid Simon Ralph and Rich should pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid Rich Multon or his rightful attorney 4marks of english money viz at the feast of st peter advincula next after the date of this court 6s8d and at the feast of michaelmas then next following 6s8d and at the feast of easter then next following 10s and at the feast of michaelmas then next following 10s and thus always to be paid at the aforesaid two feasts 20s until the sum of 4marks should be fully paid and if there should be default in any of the aforesaid payments at any of the terms thus above delimited and specified that then truly it should be allowed to the aforesaid Rich Multon and his attorney to reenter into all the aforesaid tenements with their appurtenances by licence of the court to rehold them and possess them in his former estate the aforesaid surrender and seisin upon this delivered notwithstanding saving the right etc and upon this they gave for a fine etc and made fealty etc |
