fine 6s condition and to this same court straight away came the aforesaid Jn Hondwyk Hugh Woodrove and Robt Audele and surrendered into the hands of the lord the aforesaid capital messuage with rentery and with garden with their appurtenances as was aforesaid to the use of Wm Baxstere Margt his wife Wm Oldhalle and Thos Olmested to whom was delivered thereof seisin to them by the lord's steward to hold to the same said Wm Baxster Margt his wife Wm Oldhalle and Thos Olmested and their assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the ancient services and customs etc and upon the following conditions viz that the aforesaid Wm Baxster or his assigns should pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid Jn Hondwyk or his attorney 18li sterling viz at whichever feast of easter then next follows the date of this court 40s or wi thin thirteen days then next immediately following after which certain feast until the said sum of 18li should faithfully be paid as at the said feast payment should be made and completed and if the aforesaid Wm Baxster or his assigns should default of any of the aforesaid payments of money at any of the feasts or on the days in part or in whole which money ought to be paid that then it should be allowed to the aforesaid Jn Hondwyk and his cofeoffees into the aforesaid messuage and rentery with appurtenances as it is stated to reenter and rehave them and to keep them the surrender thereof previously made notwithstanding and made void otherwise etc saving the right etc and they gave to the lord for a fine etc and made fealty
