fine 20dand to this court came Margt late the wife of Jn Ridnale which held estate with the said Jn Ridnale her husband of and in one croft of land called Hallecroft otherwise called Hallegarden and one piece of land sometime two cottages sometime Wm Pynells and one croft of land containing 1r in Sandhill to fulfil the last will of the said Jn surrendered the croft of land with the garden as aforesaid into the lord's hands that the lord of his special grace might regrant the said croft and land with appurtenances to the said Margt Ridnale for the term of her life to remain from thence to Agnes Ridnale daughter and heir of the said Jn and Jn Hegge their heirs and assigns to the use of the said Agnes and the lord seised of the said croft and garden and lands to fulfil the last will of the said Jn of his special favour by his steward regranted to the said Margt Ridnale to have and to hold to her for the term of her life to whom there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor doing and yielding therefore the rents and services therefore befo re due and of right accustomed and after the death of Margt the said croft and land with the said two gardens shall wholly remain to the said Agnes Ridnale and Jn Hegge to have and to hold to them their heirs and assigns to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor doing and yielding therefore the rents and services viz 10s2d of rent for the said croft called Hallegarden and 12d of rent for the said piece of land sometime two cottages and she giveth fine and made fealty
