Dynes | fine 12d the homage present that Jn Stone which had jointly estate and held according to the custom of the manor together with Agnes his wife and Hugh Woodrove to them and their heirs to the use of the said Jn Stone one tenement customary with the appurtenances called Dynes situate and lying over against the chapel of the blessed mary the virgin in the wall of the priory of Colne aforesaid near parcel of land called Lawfield the same Jn Stone died of the foresaid tenement seised in his demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor before the last court and they say further that Jn Stone is son and next heir of the said Jn Stone who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted and because it is so found out by the homage he is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to the same Jn his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and he giveth the lord for fine and made fealty |
