fine 12d to this court came Jn Stone son and heir of Jn Stone late deceased and surrendered into the lord's hands one tenement called Dyers situate and lying over against the chapel of blessed marie the virgin in the wall of the priory of Colne aforesaid near a parcel of land customary there called Lowfield as by the meets and bounds there more plainly is divided and shown to the use of Rich Garrard of Colne aforesaid Agnes his wife their heirs and assigns to whom by the steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them and their heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore of custom due and used and they give the lord for fine etc and made fealty to the lord yet this surrender and seisin thereof delivered is made on condition following viz that if the fores aid Rich Garrard and Agnes his wife or one of them or their attorneys or executors pay or cause to be paid to the foresaid Jn Stone or his certain attorney or executor 3li of lawful money of England in manner and form following to perform and execute the last will of the said Jn Stone the father to wit in the feast of the purification of the blessed marie the virgin which shall be in the year of our lord god 1511 20s and in the feast of the purification of blessed marie the virgin then next following 13s4d and so thenceforth yearly from year to year in the feast of the purification of the blessed marie the virgin 13s4d until the said sum of 3li be fully paid and satisfied that then this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered shall stand and take effect in all his power and for default of payment of any the payments aforesaid contrary to the form aforesaid that then it shall be lawf ul to the foresaid Jn Stone and his heirs into the foresaid tenement with the appurtenances with the licence of the lord and his court to reenter have again and possess in his former estate and the same Rich Gerard and Agnes his wife from thenceforth to expel and revoke this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered in any thing notwithstanding
