fine 6s8d it appears to the homage that Jn Fonnttys alias Boteler who held together with Mary late the wife of Wm Fonnteyes and Wm Bonet now deceased and their heirs to the use of the aforesaid Jn of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor two tenements with appurtenances of which one is called Crudds and contains by estimation 20a of land and 5a3r of meadow once in the tenure of Jn Quyxle and the other tenement called Stacies or John Adams and contains by estimation 16a of land with 1a2r of meadow lying under the park of Colne aforesaid with all appurtenances the same Jn Fonnteyes died after the last court who out of court before his death surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Thos Hunte and Jn Tilwick tenants of the lord witnessing all and singular the aforesaid tenements and meadows with appurtenances to the use of Jn Eyer prior of the Priory of Colne aforesaid executor of the will of the said Jn Fonnteys and Jn Motham and the heirs of the said Jn Motham to the intention that they sell the lands and the monies arising to be disposed of by the said prior and his assigns according to the tenor of the last will aforesaid who came into court and petitioned admittance and because it is agreed by the homage therefore they are admitted tenants of the lord by the steward and seisin delivered to hold to themselves and the heirs of the said Jn Motham in the form aforesaid of the lord by the rod etc
