it appears to the homage that the aforesaid Simon Lingwood out of court and after the last court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the aforesaid Rich Garrard in the presence of the witnesses aforesaid one parcel of land lying next to land called Hayhouse and the park gate to the work and use of Joan and Isabel his daughters and their heirs and assigns with the intention that they bestow the profits and issues arising from the said croft in a certain portion yearly to be kept the second day of rogation week at the cross standing in the way leading from the lord's park and that the aforesaid Joan and Isabel are under age the aforesaid Joan 14yr and the aforesaid Isabel aged 12yr and custody of the croft of land is given to Robt Ketell Wm Woodward and Rich Potter etc which Robt Wm and Rich Potter by the steward are given possession to hold of the lord etc to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and they give the lord fine and made fealty fine 8d
