Robt Goldwire
which held of the lord as of this manor freely by deed certain lands and tenements called
Procknotts
the certainty whereof at this present is yet unknown wherefore he rents by year
the foresaid
Robt Goldwire
did since the last court but of what estate they know not and they say further that
Wm Steede
and
Margt
his wife late the wife of the foresaid
Robt Goldwire
do now hold and occupy the foresaid lands and tenements therefore the bailiff charged to distrain the same
Wm
and
Margt
by their goods and chattels within etc so that they be at the next court here to be holden and to do fealty to the lord and make fine and pay to the lord a relief viz
to the lord due by and after the death of the foresaid
Robt Goldwire
deceased or to show to the lord why they ought not to pay the relief aforesaid to the lord
