Illies messuage X item they present that the foresaid Robt Goldwire in the day when he died of his death held jointly with Margt his wife yet living to them and the heirs of the foresaid Robt of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one messuage and 10a of land customary with the appurtenances late Robt Hillies lying in Colne aforesaid as in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost in the 10Hen8 25.5.1518 more at large appears the foresaid Robt Goldwire dead since the last court and before his death surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Jn Ellis one of the lord's tenants in the presence of Thos Lathbury and other the same witnessing the reversion of the foresaid messuage and 10a of land customary with the appurtenances when it shall happen after the death of the foresaid Margt his wife to the use of     Goldwire his son his heirs and assigns and hereupon to this court came Wm Steede gentleman now the husband of the foresaid Margt and made fealty to the lord for the messuage and lands aforesaid and giveth nothing for fine because the said Robt Goldwire in his life pain fine as well for himself as for the said Margt as appears in the court roll
