Cloviers and Pettescrofts Xfine 20d item it is found by the homage that Joan Fynche widow late wife of Wm Finche deceased which held to her for term of her life of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one cottage with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances called Cloviers and also two crofts of customary land with the appurtenances called Pettiscrofts to remain after her death to Wm Finche son of the foresaid Wm Finche deceased and his heirs as appears in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost in the 15Hen8 26.5.1523 more at large appears the foresaid Joan died since the last court of such estate seised and hereupon to this court came the foresaid Wm Finche the son who is of full age and craveth to be admitted to the premises by means of the remainder and because it is so found by the homage thereof he is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him and his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord etc and he giveth fine and made fealty
