Bermans and Rowncies etc X Curds and Stacyes etc X Heyhouse Xit is found by Thos Wybroughe understeward that Christian Awdeley now the wife of Thos Awdeley gentleman who held jointly with Thos Awdeley and Jn Estaie yet living and Thos Hunte now deceased to them and their heirs of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one tenement with the appurtenances called Gooldsgate and one croft of land with the appurtenances called Bermans and two crofts of land with the appurtenances called Rownces and one piece of land called Pellesland lying in Berman Field and two customary tenements with the appurtenances whereof the one is called Curds and contains by estimation 30a of land and 5a3r of meadow sometime in the tenure of Jn Quixley and the other is called Staces alias John Adams and contains by estimation 16a of land with 1a2r of meadow lying under the lord's park of Colne aforesaid and one tenement with certain lands customary called Heyhouse late Jeff Audeley's deceased and 1a of land with the appurtenances or more etc lying in Longland sometime parcel of the tenement called Cowleys alias Golds the foresaid Christian out of the court and since the last court by the said steward alone and secretly examined and consented and surrendered remised released and always from her and her heirs forever quitclaimed to Jn Estaie and his heirs in their full and peaceable possession being of and in the foresaid lands and tenements and meadows with the appurtenances all their right title claim interest and demand whatsoever she had or by any means hereafter may have of and in the foresaid lands tenements and meadows with the appurtenances and in every parcel thereof viz so that neither the foresaid Christian nor her heirs nor any other for them or in their name may or ought to challenge any right title claim interest and demand of and in the lands and tenements and meadows with their appurtenances or in any parcel thereof hereafter but are forever barred from all action of right by these presents
