Sonningwells Xfine 3s4d it is found by the homage that Alice Harvie widow which held jointly with Robt Fen and Rich Garrard yet living to themselves their heirs and assigns of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one chief messuage with a garden and curtilage adjoining sometime called Sonningwells with one tenement adjoining Tabors with the appurtenances lying in Colne aforesaid as etc the foresaid Alice out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Jn Attewood vicebailiff in the presence of Jn Tillwicke and Roger Hitchcocke the lord's tenants and others the same witnessing the foresaid chief messuage with the garden and curtilage adjoining called Sonningwells with one tenement adjoining called Tabors to the use and behoof of Jn Pennocke and Margt his wife Geo Bieston and Peter Pennocke their heirs and assigns to the use alone of the aforesaid Jn Pennock and Margt his wife and their heirs who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereto and because it was so found therefore they are admitted the lord's tenants to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them and their heirs and assigns to the use aforesaid of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according etc and they give fine and made fealty
