cottage John Wrights Xfine 12d it is found by the homage that Thos Hunte out of the court and before the last court lying upon his death bed surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Wm Beald one of the lord's tenants in the presence of Wm Choppet clerk Wm Carter and Jn Barbor alias Rushey likewise the lord's tenants the same witnessing one cottage with a garden adjoining called John Wrights as etc to the use and behoof of Agnes his wife during the whole term of her life to remain after her decease to Eliz Hunte daughter of the foresaid Thos and Agnes and her heirs the foresaid Agnes died before the last court and hereupon now to this court came the foresaid Eliz now the wife of Thos Veer gentleman by the foresaid Thos her husband and craved to be admitted to the foresaid cottage with the garden adjoining and the appurtenances by reason of the remainder aforesaid and because it is so found by the homage that the foresaid Thos Hunte in his lifetime made such a surrender and that the foresaid Agnes is deceased therefore the foresaid Eliz is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to the hands of the foresaid Thos to hold to the foresaid Eliz her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and they give fine and made fealty
