to the use of

and and their heirs and assigns to the use of the foresaid

his wife their heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and craved themselves to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found by the homage therefore they are admitted the lord's tenants to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them their heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and they give fine and made fealty yet this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered was made on condition following viz that if the foresaid

or his certain attorney or his executors 26s8d sterling beside 26s8d beforehand paid in manner and form following viz on the feast of pentecost next coming after the date of this court in the parish church of Colne aforesaid 13s4d and in the feast of pentecost then next following 13s4d in full payment of the said 26s8d that then this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered shall stand and remain in all his strength and effect and of there be default in any payment of the payments aforesaid that then it shall be lawful to the foresaid
