Dynes Xfine 2s it is found by the homage that Rich Garrard who held jointly with Agnes late his wife now deceased to them and their heirs of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one customary tenement with the appurtenances called Dynes situate and lying over against the Chapel of Blessed Marie the Virgin in the wall of the Priory of Colne aforesaid near a parcel of customary land there called Lowfield as by the metes and bounds the foresaid Rich died since the last court and before his death surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Jn Sparrowe one of the lord's tenants in the presence of Wm Beald and Wm Lingwood likewise the lord's tenants and other the same witnessing the foresaid customary tenement called Dynes to the use and behoof of Joan his wife and her assigns during the whole term of her life to remain after her decease to Jn Garrard the younger son of the foresaid Rich Garrard and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for want of such issue to remain after his decease to Nich Garrard another son of the foresaid Rich and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for want of such issue to remain after the decease of the foresaid Nich to the executor of the foresaid Rich Garrard to sell and the money thereof coming to be disposed in works of charity for the soul of the foresaid Rich Garrard and his parents and all faithful people deceased and hereupon to this court came the foresaid Joan and craved to be admitted to the premises and because it is so found therefore she is admitted the lord's tenant to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to her during the whole term of her life of the lord by the rod etc to remain after her decease as above etc and she giveth fine etc and made fealty
