Jn Tillwicke
and surrendered into the lord's hands one messuage with a barn and garden adjoining with the appurtenances called
Joldens
lying in Colne aforesaid as by the metes and bounds etc to the use and behoof of
Nich Garrard
Jn Pennock
and
Wm Abbot
their heirs and assigns to the use alone of the said

his heirs and assigns which
Nich Garrard
being present in the court came and craved himself and the foresaid

and
Wm
to be admitted thereunto and they are admitted the lord's tenants thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is se isin thereof delivered to hold to them their heirs and assigns to the use aforesaid to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and they give fine and made fealty yet this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered is made on condition following viz that if the foresaid

his heirs or assigns pay or cause to be paid to the foresaid
Jn Tillwicke
or his certain attorney or executor 5li sterling beside the 50s beforehand paid in manner and form following viz in the feast of pentecost next coming after the date of this court in the parish church of Earls Colne aforesaid 33s4d and in the feast of pentecost then next following in the place aforesaid 33s4d in full payment of the 5li aforesaid that then this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered shall stand in all his strength and effect and of there be default in any payment of the payments aforesaid contrary to the form aforesaid that then it shall be lawful to the same

and his heirs into the foresaid messuage barn and garden and into every parcel thereof with the appurtenances to reenter and have again and so as in their former estate the same to hold and enjoy and possess and the foresaid

surrender and seisin in anywise notwithstanding
