Gentries | 8d to this court came Rich Baineham gentleman which held jointly with Agnes his wife now deceased to them and their heirs of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one tenement customary with the appurtenances called Gentries in Colne aforesaid the foresaid Rich Baineham being present in the court surrendered into the lord's hands the foresaid tenement with the appurtenances called Gentries to the use and behoof of Nich Banbury and Joan his wife and their heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereto and they are admitted the lord's tenants thereof to whom by the lord's steward there was seisin thereof delivered to hold to them their heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and they give fine and made fealty |
